Neuronest team and learning environment
About Neuronest

We built the school we wished existed when we started learning AI

Neuronest is an online AI development school based in Bangkok. We focus on one thing: helping people understand AI development from the ground up, at a pace and depth that actually sticks.

Our Story

From a small study group in Khlong Toei to an online school

Neuronest started in 2021 when a few people who'd been learning AI independently decided to pool what they knew and teach it more deliberately. The first "programme" was a shared document, a group chat, and a few video calls per week. Forty learners joined that first round.

What those early learners kept saying was that they didn't want a fast-track or a shortcut — they wanted something that explained why each concept mattered, that let them ask real questions, and that moved at a sensible pace. That feedback shaped everything we've built since.

Today, Neuronest runs three structured online programmes covering Python fundamentals, applied machine learning, and full AI engineering. We've supported over 1,200 learners across Thailand and beyond. Our team is small and our materials are kept current.

Our mission

To make the path into AI development navigable — by removing the confusion, the hype, and the unnecessary complexity from how it's taught.

Our vision

A world where understanding how AI systems work isn't limited to people who happened to study computer science at university, or who can afford full-time bootcamps.

Our approach

We write content carefully, sequence it logically, and build in time for reflection and practice. We don't promise fast results — we aim for durable understanding.

The Team

People behind the programmes

A compact team with backgrounds across software engineering, data science, and education design.

AP

Araya Phongpan

Founder & Curriculum Lead

Former software engineer who spent years working on data pipelines before turning to teaching. Designed the Foundations and Capstone programmes and oversees curriculum quality across all tracks.

NK

Nattapong Krairak

Lead Instructor – Machine Learning

Data scientist with experience at two Bangkok-based tech companies. Leads the Applied Machine Learning Track, runs group mentor sessions, and writes most of the practical exercise sets.

SW

Siriporn Wattana

Learning Design & Student Support

Background in instructional design and adult education. Manages the structure and pacing of each programme, handles learner enquiries, and coordinates feedback loops between students and instructors.

How We Work

Standards we hold ourselves to

These aren't marketing claims — they're the things we actually check against when designing and delivering our programmes.

Clear sequencing

Every lesson builds on the previous one. We don't introduce concepts until learners have the foundations in place. Programmes are reviewed annually for logical flow.

Responsive feedback

Learners get feedback on their exercises and projects within a defined window. We don't leave questions sitting for days. Feedback is specific, not generic.

Data privacy

Learner data is stored securely, never sold to third parties, and access is tightly controlled. We follow applicable Thai data protection guidelines and update our practices as the law evolves.

Current materials

AI tools and libraries change quickly. We schedule content reviews every few months and update exercises and examples when the underlying tools shift in meaningful ways.

Accessibility

Materials are designed for a wide range of learners. We use plain language, avoid unnecessary jargon, provide written summaries alongside video content, and maintain large-tap-target interfaces.

Honest communication

We don't overstate what our programmes deliver. We describe what each one covers, what level of prior knowledge it expects, and how long it typically takes. No fine print.

AI development education that works around your life

Neuronest operates entirely online, which means our learners can study when it fits their schedule — from Bangkok, from Chiang Mai, from abroad, or from wherever work and family allow them a few focused hours. We don't require attendance at set times for the core material, though mentored programmes do include scheduled sessions that participants arrange in advance.

Our programmes are designed as general education in AI development skills. We cover Python programming, data handling, model building, and deployment concepts through practical exercises and projects. The aim is for learners to develop a working understanding of how these systems are built — not to absorb a fixed set of facts, but to be able to read unfamiliar code, work through new problems, and keep learning independently after the programme ends.

We are based at 120 Sukhumvit Road in the Khlong Toei district of Bangkok. Our office is where the team works and where in-person queries can occasionally be directed by arrangement. Day-to-day learner interaction happens through our online platform and via email at [email protected].
